of a perhaps reverberating
of what was lived without sharing it
through the screen,
with digital voices,
in the tears of loneliness,
in the desires for greatness,
walking home,
in the separation,
in what is spoken without words
in a silent gaze

And your heart longs for another life
Or perhaps longs for the possibilities of this one
and it hurts
And it breaks into a thousand pieces
and it gets too big
or too small
Because in the end it understands that you don’t long for another life
You long for what slipped through your fingers in this one

Lives intertwined; lives melted
Life on those stairs, in that alley, on the screen,
life in a small apartment,
life on the sidewalk,
waiting life; life in goodbye

And you silence your wounds
and the words harden in your throat
and your mouth remains closed
