clouding the scene
until it doesn’t
eight rounds of mahjong.
The approaching hand
the one that moves away
and those that end up intertwining
an empty hug,
the loudest silence
dry emotions
the mouth forgot how to speak
the game, misunderstood
fading
melting with the heat of the afternoon
in the confinement of the room
a time frozen frame
seem to linger in the rain
in someone’s memory
