and non conformists
looking for a way
to enlighten human existence
among 7 miles an hour trains,
atomic bomb tests,
the third unknown problem to a dying car,
real state vending machines,
juice in the morning,
strawberry milk,
war photos,
scholarships,
a hand burned,
an asteroid stolen,
an unexpected visit,
a metaphor without meaning,
the sunlight always clean and unforgiven
as life itself
and time is always wrong
and it doesn’t heal all wounds

And you’ll wonder
Am I doing alright?
Is there an answer in the cosmic wilderness?
Are the secrets of the universe meant to be shared?
Is there a meaning to all this nonsense?
Because there must be one,
but you won’t find it
and you won’t understand
and you won’t find an excuse,
other than life itself
Because you don’t belong here,
because you are nothing,
trying to be noticed
And you’ll say,
after the door is closed
— That was life!
